My View

When your path is not clear
and your vision is clouded,
how can you stand up,
and expect to be counted?

Each of us has their own point of view,
let me be the judge of what I have to do.
I respect you all and will face demons alone,
Not letting me try will cut to the bone.

Some time in the coming,
its no easy choice I make,
perhaps in time,
for my selfishness I'll pay.

Cutting off nobody,
a little space I need,
to develop on my own,
stand on my own two feet.

Give me time to breath,
and be whom I want to be,
let time be the judge,
of a happy ending.

To my true friends I will return,
developing character stronger I will become
and from this experience I will learn,
be able to teach my daughters and son.

Missing

Something is missing,
not feeling empty,
just me and nothing,
no words but thinking,
how different days,
make different waves,
so every day,
is never the same.

my belly is full,
my appetite nulled,
my heart is yet torn,
my fervor still yearns,
hungry for life,
to experience more,
can't rid the feeling,
I know I need more.

capacity for intense feeling,
my thoughts constant deceiving,
attempting to please everyone,
missing the important person,
I needed to please me,
to feel unencumbered me,
unpick the retaining pin,
letting my new life begin.

My Catalyst

Longing for a reason, a purpose behind words,
Ultimately an answer to everything absurd,
Catalyst to my questions, everything she heard,
Yearned I for new meaning, godforsaken world!

Heavens open, nature competes at its best,
Indigo child embraces love of sunset,
Night fall brings forth the ultimate tempest,
Delight in the sound of rain pattered tent,
Song and dance give joy, no time for lament,
Onward journey along the path called ‘Now’,
New dawn, new purpose, she’s so like Ouch!
New dawn, new beginning, So like Wow!
