Everlasting Lover

Oh my dear friend,
you and your weekend,
What am I to do?
How can I pretend?

I owe her the golden ticket,

but if at the end of the day,
And it does not work out,
And we both miss each other,
I know you won't hang around,
and you shouldn't wait for me,
but if you are with another,
I know I will have loved you,
for the moments we had were true,
and if by a miracle our paths do connect,
be assured we will be together,
and our lost time we won't regret.
