In my dream

Yes, I was unsure about how the land lay.
and really didn't know what say.
My heart was not broken, but hurt in some way.
SO glad you wanted to take it back and away.

It wasn't that I didn't want you there.
It definitley wasn't that I hated you!!
What you saw in my eyes, was me frikin scared!!
I only wanted to make love to you.

I poured my heart out and every word was truth,
You will never be just another ....
I only wanted to see the real you.
I never wish to lose you.

Our 36hours may be farther away than before,
The desire to hurt no-one something not to ignore,
But our hearts are united, with a love divided,
You're forever in my thoughts, that much is decided!

Where we go from here, I leave for you to ponder,
The stars, the moon and whatever is yonder,
Which ever way the stardust settles,
The landscape is beautiful and laced with petals.

We all have to dream and hope for the best,
This is all part of our life's big test,
To be happy and laugh, joy and scream,
You mean so much to me, forever embedded in my dream.
